Trailer Analysis Part 1
Sound:
For my trailer I chose too overlay Sleep Walk by Betsy Brye over it. It chose this particular song become it gives a sense of nostalgia, which is seen in the memory of the older sister with the younger sister. However, it also invokes an uneasy and lost emotion which helps with the theme and plot of the film.
Location:
I filmed at a local park and at my house. The scene filmed at the park allowed me to capture natural sunlight and environmental elements such as trees. The scenes filmed at my house allowed me to have a more controlled environment to film use props.
Props:
The most important props from the trailer are the bike and roller skates. They contribute to one of the crucial plot turning points and shows the relationship between the two characters. I also used papers, folders, and my laptop to contribute to the last scene and make the inference that the character was gethering evidence.
